The T4DM study aimed to find out whether treatment with testosterone injections can prevent or reverse Type 2 diabetes in men who are at the most risk of diabetes because they have lower testosterone levels and pre-diabetes or newly diagnosed diabetes. The study ran from 2013 to 2019 and is now complete. A total of 1007 men from around Australia took part. The T4DM study team thank all of our participants for the part they played in the study. Without these men, the study would not have been possible.
