Arlen Wilcox

Clinical Trials Program Manager

Arlen is a clinical trialist with significant experience in the design, development and delivery of large-scale research projects, and a passion for research efficiency through fit-for-purpose design and precision operations. Arlen joined the CTC in October 2020 as Clinical Trials Program Manager, focussing on expanding the CTC's delivery of projects utilising novel and adaptive clinical trial methodologies.

In addition to his role at the CTC, Arlen currently holds an Adjunct Lecturer position within the Faculty of Medicine at the University of New South Wales.

Prior to joining the CTC, Arlen managed academic research within The George Institute for Global Health, Australia, the Medical Research Council Clinical Trials Unit at University College London, and the Kirby Institute within the University of New South Wales, and commercial research within the medical device field.

Arlen's research experience is vast, spanning all clinical trial phases, including observational and implementation research, and has been diverse in therapeutic area, including projects within COVID-19, Vaccinology, Nephrology, Cardiovascular Disease, Oncology, Virology, Sleep Medicine, and Respiratory Medicine.
