Dr Peey-Sei Kok

Research Fellow, PhD Candidate

Dr Peey-Sei Kok is a PhD candidate at the CTC, medical oncologist at Prince of Wales hospital and a research fellow at the CTC.
She was awarded MB BCh BAO and BSc (hons) from University College Dublin, Ireland in 2007 and completed her medical oncology training through St Vincent’s/ Liverpool/ Campbelltown hospitals in 2016. She was also awarded Masters of Clinical Trials Centre at University of Sydney in 2017. Peey-Sei has a strong interest in thoracic and gynaecological cancers, developed through her fellowship with ALTG and ANZGOG at the NHMRC CTC since 2015.

Peey-Sei's PhD research focuses on validating and identifying surrogate endpoints in oncology clinical trials especially in immunotherapy and targeted therapies that clearly predicts a beneficial effect through appropriate studies. This allows more efficient drug development trials, providing guidance to drug approval and clinical decision-making in these novel therapies.
