Dr Mbathio Dieng

Postdoctoral Fellow

Dr Mbathio Dieng is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the CTC looking at the clinical benefit and economic implications of Computed tomography (CT) and positron emission tomography (PET)/CT surveillance imaging in asymptomatic Stage III melanoma patients. She conducted her PhD at Sydney Medical School, The University of Sydney, Australia. She was awarded Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Sydney in 2016 and was awarded Peter Bancroft Prize within the Sydney Medical School for her thesis. Before joining the CTC, Mbathio was working at the Cancer Epidemiology and Prevention Research Centre and the Sydney School of Public Health. She obtained her Masters of International Public Health at the University of Sydney, Australia.
