Dr Anna Lene Seidler

Senior Research Fellow

Dr Anna Lene Seidler has been working at the CTC as a biostatistician in the Evidence Integration team since 2017. Lene specialises in next generation systematic review methodology such as prospectively planned, network and individual participant data meta-analysis. She also works on research projects on clinical trial registration as part of the Australian New Zealand Clinical Trials Registry (ANZCTR) and is a member of the Cochrane Prospective Meta-Analysis methods group. At the CTC, Lene provides statistical support to researchers and students. She leads several large international research collaborations, for example the iCOMP collaboration, which examines cord management in preterm infants, and the TOPCHILD collaboration which focuses on early childhood obesity prevention.

Lene has previously worked and studied at the University of Edinburgh, Humboldt University Berlin, and the German Centre for Gerontology. Her research has won several scholarships and awards, including the Australasian Epidemiological Association Early Career Researcher Award.
