Christopher Brown

Research Fellow

Mr. Chris Brown is a biostatistician with particular experience in the area clinical trials and oncology research.  His current appointment is as a Research Fellow at the NHMRC Clinical Trials Centre, University of Sydney, and is one of the senior members of the biostatistics department. 

An active member of the Statistical Society of Australia, Chris's main statistical research interests are in areas of trial design, randomisation methods, time to event and interim analyses.  He also has an interest in applications of statistical methods in genetic research studies.

Having worked at the CTC since 2005, Chris has been involved in a large number of trials across a broad range of diseases and supports the oncology Cooperative Trials Groups operations, in particular The Australasian Lung cancer Trials Group (ALTG). He has a number of teaching commitments including the coordination of PUBH5306 Controlled Trials and CLTR5008 Research Project.
