iCOMP is a systematic review and network meta-analysis with individual participant data on Cord Management at Preterm Birth. The iCOMP Collaboration brings together researchers from all over the world to combine their trial data to:

1. determine the optimal umbilical cord management strategy at preterm birth
2. evaluate the comparative effects of cord management strategies such as milking or delayed cord clamping on neonatal mortality and morbidity
3. investigate the impact of alternative cord management strategies for different key subgroups of infants, such as those requiring resuscitation at birth or born very early (before 32 weeks gestation).
