Summaries of trial results

People who participate in clinical trials and studies (participants) are volunteers who have an essential and important role in medical research, a role that is highly valued by CTC researchers. CTC is aware of its obligation to inform participants of the outcomes of a study or trial they have been part of.

Results of studies and trials are normally given to participants by their treating clinician or study nurse and can also be accessed via published medical journals or institution websites. However, these can be hard to find and difficult to understand. Participants are given, or should ask for, an easy-to-read summary of results from the time the results are available.
