Dr Kristy Robledo

Senior Research Fellow (biostatistics) and CTC Future Leader Fellow

Dr Kristy Robledo is an early career statistician with over 13 years’ experience in clinical trials research. She is a Senior Research Fellow and Future Leader Fellow at the CTC.

Kristy is responsible for the provision of statistical leadership to clinical trial networks in oncology, neonatology, cardiovascular and other areas, to design, undertake, analyse and report on clinical trials. Her research is also in the methods used to analyse of biomarker data in clinical trials.

Kristy is also passionate about sharing and teaching coding in statistics software, particularly to increase efficiency and reproducibility in clinical trials research.  She holds a workshop called ‘Coding Conundrums’ once a month to facilitate a sharing platform for researchers.

Teaching and supervision

Kristy coordinates a unit of study (CLTR5002: Interpretation of trials results) in the Masters of Clinical Trials Research. She also is responsible for the content development, coordination and teaching of short courses in statistics, including the annual statistical training provided to Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) trainees.  

Kristy also is an associate supervisor to three PhD students.
