Sydney Catalyst
Sydney Catalyst: the Translational Cancer
Research Centre of Central Sydney and Regional New South Wales
is a virtual centre bringing together a consortium
of cancer researchers, led by the CTC's Director, Professor John Simes.
Sydney Catalyst consists of over 20
member groups and institutions, including the CTC. Its
scientific and clinical cancer researchers cover basic research
through to clinical trials and clinical practice, extending to
population, psychosocial and health economics research.
The project was awarded $6.35 million over 5 years by
Cancer Institute NSW in July 2011.
